I’ve only visited the marina twice, but the grace of the geese flying and descending before landing in the water amazes me every time. Check it out! © Rita Jacques 2019 Windsor, Ontario.
I’m not sure what type of trees these are but they’re majestic and until the spring buds come out, they’re highlighted beautifully against the sky! Reaume/Peace Fountain Park, Windsor, Ontario. © Rita Jacques 2019.
Whenever I see this lighthouse at the marina in Windsor, I let out a sigh of relief, and think to myself, “I’m glad it’s still standing!” You see, way back in the eighties, I helped with some engineering work on it as a summer student for the City of Windsor. Guess I was taught well!

This is a very poignant display, the Flags of Remembrance, along the Windsor waterfront. There are 128 flags representing 128,000 Canadian military and RCMP dead and missing in action from the Boer War to the present. If you are in the area, check it out! © Rita Jacques 2018.
